Bujar Asllani’s Portfolio

Bujar Asllani offers works of two mediums. The first gallery labeled “Oil Painting Gallery” comprises a selection of oils on canvas, while the 2-ND and 3-rd galleries, labeled “Monotype Gallery I” and “Monotype Galley II”, contain a selected group
of the artist’s Monotype masterpieces.

As you will read in the Monotype History section there are many different flavors of monotypes, when you consider the way they are created and the tools the artist used to produce them.  Some went as far as to use simple flatbed cylinder presses to transfer images into paper and so on.

Bujar’s monotypes on the other hand are completely handmade, something he sees as crucial, and a process he spent many years improving, in order to achieve a wide gamut of coloristic effects.

“The work of hand, - says Bujar - ensures that every single one of my monotypes remains a true artwork, and the viewer will really sense this!”
